As a key member of the Iraq Britain Business Council (IBBC), Al-Burhan Group participated in a high-level meeting with H.E. Mr. Wahab Al-Hasani, Minister of Transport, and Baroness Emma Nicholson, Chair of the Iraq Britain Business Council, together with the accompanying delegation, to discuss opportunities for further cooperation and support the development of Iraq’s transport sector.

Al-Burhan Group was represented at the meeting by Mr. Imad Burhan, Managing Director, and Mr. Saad Al-Khafaji, General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors of Al-Burhan Group, alongside representatives of a number of IBBC member companies.

The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation in the fields of maritime transport, ports, aviation, air navigation and railways, in addition to developing human resources through specialised training programmes, knowledge exchange, and benefiting from British expertise and capabilities in support of Iraq’s transport sector.

Through its active participation in the Iraq Britain Business Council, Al-Burhan Group reaffirms its commitment to supporting strategic partnerships between Iraq and the United Kingdom, contributing to initiatives that promote investment, knowledge exchange, infrastructure development and sustainable economic growth in Iraq.
