ABG/Geismar set to Supply Iraq with Ganger Trolley Spare Parts

Al-Burhan Group (ABG) has signed a contract with renowned French railway manufacturer Geismar to Supply Iraqi Republic Railway (IRR) with spare parts of Ganger Trolley Model VMT 850 GR. The expected time for delivery is six months and special Iraqi team of experts will visit Geismar factories in France and Italy to make on-site inspection of the equipment.

The contract reflects IRR satisfaction with the machinery which has also been supplied for Iraq by Geismar within the framework of the Volpe centre donation programme to the Iraqi railway in 2004. The machinery came into service in 2005 and has been considered a huge step ahead in the drive to upgrade and expand the Iraqi railway network.

Ganger Trolley

The contract manifests the ABG dedication to upgrade and develop the Iraqi railway network in Iraq in order to turn Iraq into a commercial and industrial hub. The delivery of the Gangers Trolleys spare parts will be a further addition to the Group’s list of successful business operations in Iraq.
