Al-Burhan Group (ABG) that represents giant steel-producer Thyssenkrupp has won a contract to supply the Iraqi Republic Railway with 30,000 tons of rail bar after an exhaustive tender process that opens Iraq’s huge transport sector to new horizons of development.

ABG, which has extensive activities in Iraq’s economic sector, will expand the existing tracks and upgrade the road network across the country. Thyssenkrupp will be responsible for supplying the Iraqi railway with 60EI rail bar, the latest European technological product in rail industry.
